63rd Annual Norwegian Constitution Day Parade in Bay Ridge

In recent years, what's been called "Viking Weekend", during the month of May in Bay Ridge, has become both an annual homecoming destination for far-flung Brooklyn Norwegians and an attraction for Scandinavian cultural tourists.

And this year's lineup is bigger and better than ever.

Following a route along Third Avenue (rain or shine) and proceeding to 69th Street, the Parade turns right and marches up 69th Street to Fifth Avenue. It then turns left and marches to 67th Street, turning right at Lief Erikson Park and marching past the grandstand, where it falls out.
