Tennis, Water Play, Roller Skating in Prospect Park

The outdoor season is open at Prospect Park Tennis Center, at 50 Parkside Avenue in Prospect Park, at the Parade Ground on Coney Island Avenue between Caton and Parkside (F train to Fort Hamilton Parkway station, exit at Greenwood/Prospect Ave.), / Q train to Parkside Ave. / B68 bus on Coney Island Ave. to Parkside.)

The outdoor season continues through October 5. Open hours are 7 AM to 11 PM daily.

You'll need a permit for day play during the outdoor season. For information on how to get an outdoor permit, visit the website.

No permit is required for outdoor night play, but a fee applies. A list of fees for night play can be found here.

While reservations are not necessary, they are encouraged, and can be made on the Prospect Park website. To make a reservation, click here.

LeFrak Center at Lakeside
The new Samuel J. and Ethel LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park is closest to the Parkside / Ocean Avenue entrance or the Lincoln Road entrance. Inside the Park, walk directly across the Drive and follow the path to Lakeside. For more information, call (212) 661-6640.

Admission to Water Play, which is open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM, is free.

Roller skating fees are $6 (Monday through Friday) and $8 (Friday through Sunday and holidays). Skate rentals are $6 per person + tax.

Skating hours from Wednesdays through Thursdays from 12 - 6 PM; Fridays 2 - 8 PM; Saturdays 10 AM to 10 PM; and Sundays 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
