Children can choose from summer modules featuring activities and projects relating to the environment, culture, science, history and food, including:
- Frozen- Christmas in July;
- Medieval Magic;
- Wet and Wild;
- Say You've Got a Revolution;
- Hunger Games;
- It's a Small World;
- That's Entertainment; and
- Made by Design.
The Center's Summer Theater Arts Production will be Peter Pan, directed by Susan Huizinga. Children who participate can learn all aspects of the theater experience, including drama, voice, dance, and set and costume design. The program will culminate in 2 fully-staged performances. All registered campers are eligible to participate. Theater Arts can be taken as a stand-alone.
Other available programs this summer include: afterschool, Family Fridays: family-based art and science classes; ESL instruction for families and individuals; home school programming; and "Arty Party": creative occasion parties.
