Recchia's "Kitchen Tables Listening Tour" Stops in Manor Heights

Democratic Congressional candidate Domenic Recchia, running against embattled Republican incumbent Michael Grimm in the 11th CD, will continue his "Kitchen Tables Listening Tour" with a stop at 229 Graves Street in Manor Heights in Staten Island on Saturday, May 17 at 2 PM.

Recchia, a former City Council Member, kicked off the tour last week with stops in Dyker Heights and New Dorp Beach, explaining that the home visits give him the chance to meet with working families across Staten Island and southern Brooklyn and hear directly what they have to say.

Both Congress and his campaign, Recchia said, should be focused on the issues that concern the people living in the district.  The 11th CD needs dedicated leadership now more than ever, he said, promising a 24/7 commitment focused on the Hurricane Sandy rebuild and future resiliency.

Additional tour dates and locations for the coming week are expected within the next few days.
