Open House at Ridge Creative Center

The Ridge Creative Center, at the First Free Church, 6501 Sixth Avenue in Bay Ridge, will host a series of Open House events from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on May 3 and 24 and June 7 and 21.

Come meet the Center's qualified, experienced staff and learn about summer programming options.

Modular Summer Programming

The Center will offer a modular arts-based Summer Program from June 30 through August 29.  Children can choose from modules that include: 
  • Frozen- Christmas in July 
  • Medieval Magic, Remix 
  • Wet and Wild
  • Say You've Got a Revolution 
  • Hunger Games
  • It's a Small World and 
  • That's Entertainment
Summer Activities

Summer activities will include arts projects themed around the environment, culture, science, history, and food. 

Theater Arts Program

Campers can choose to register for Theater Arts as a stand-alone or as part of the regular Summer Program. All registered campers can take part in every aspect of the theatrical experience, including, acting, voice, dance, sets, and costume design, culminating in 2 performances. 

This year's Theater Arts Production will be the J.M. Barry classic Peter Pan, directed by Susan Huizinga. 

Other Programs

At the Open House events, you can also learn about the Center's other programs, including afterschool, Family Fridays (family-based art and science lessons), family and individual ESL classes, home school programming, and creative party planning services.
