"Obsession", an exciting new group show, opens at Tabla Rasa Gallery, at 224 48th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues) in Sunset Park on Wednesday February 2, and will be open through March 23.
Gallery hours are from 1 to 5 PM on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The artists' reception will be from 6:00 - 8:30 PM on February 5.
Admission is free.
The gallery is two express subway stops from Manhattan on the D/N to 36th Street, then the R to 45th Street. If you're driving, ample street parking is available.
Among the passionately process-oriented paintings, installations, collages, and works on paper included in the show are pieces by artists Pamella Allen, Jessica Angel, Beatrice Coron, Peter Gergely, Ellen Grossman, Jenna Lash, Liz Whitney Quisgard, Soler, Danny Scheffer, and Melissa Zexter.

Located in a 4,000 sq. ft. early 20th century building in the emerging art destination neighborhood of Sunset Park, Tabla Rasa exhibits primary and secondary market artwork by emerging, mid-career and established artists in all media, including painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, print media, digital, film and video.
