Call for Testimony from B37 Riders

Local pols and the "Restore the B37 Coalition" have gotten the B37 bus back online, but the MTA remains unconvinced that it should restore the B37 route all the way to Court Street in downtown Brooklyn.

You can help local seniors, people with disabilities and students, who have struggled to get downtown without the B37, to secure a safe, reliable one-seat ride 24-7.

The MTA NYC Transit and Bus Committee is meeting at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 27 at MTA Headquarters, 347 Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Local political club Bay Ridge Democrats is recruiting B37 riders and advocates to come to the meeting and tell the MTA why the full restoration of the B37 route matters to people in Bay Ridge.

Email club president Justin Brannan if you want to go to the meeting and testify in support of restoring the full B37 route. Free transportation will be available to and from 347 Madison Avenue.

What: MTA Transit and Bus Committee Meeting
When: Monday, January 27, 2014 at 10:30 AM
Where: 347 Madison Ave., NY, NY 5th Fl Conference Room

To the district's confusion, the campaign to restore the full B37 route has broken out along partisan lines, with the Republicans and Democrats, although their positions are identical, hosting separate rallies and pressers.
