New Year's Eve at Grand Army Plaza

Ring in the New Year in Brooklyn with fireworks at Grand Army Plaza, where incoming Borough President Elect Eric Adams will be after taking the reins from outgoing Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz.

Free admission.

The celebration begins at around 11 PM on Tuesday, December 31 with hot chocolate and holiday entertainment.

Fireworks start at midnight.

Best locations for viewing the display, aside from anywhere in Grand Army Plaza, are on West Drive in the Park and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.
