Hynes Race-Baits Thompson in Yiddish
The Thompson campaign had the Yiddish ad translated into English and sent the translation to Failed Messiah.
According to that translation, Hynes charges that Thompson, who is Black, only won the primary with the support of a very small percentage of the electorate, from which he pulled "the minority element that seeks lawlessness."
In the next section, the ad says that "leaders and activists know that in the next election, when 60% of Brooklyn will come out and vote, people will use common sense and not vote for lawlessness...."
Hmmm, a "lawless minority element"? Would that be the same element that Hynes' pal Sol Wachtler refers to as "schwartze"? Is Abner Louima, stumping for Thompson, allied with that same "lawless minority element"?
I imagine Justin Volpe would see it that way.
Stay classy, Charlie.
The post from Failed Messiah.
Hynes takes heavy fire from a bunch of his fellow elected for that "lawless minority element" language [Yeshiva World.]
The New York Post takes Hynes to task for talking campaign strategy with Sol Wachtler on the office email account.

Hynes accuses BuzzFeed, which published his "schwartze" email exchange with Wachtler, of doctoring the messages [New York Post.].
