City Stomp at Spoke the Hub

City Stomp will play a free outdoor concert, featuring music about New York City and rocked-out children's classics, at 5 PM on Thursday, June 20, at the Old Stone House in Washington Park, 336 Third Street, between Fourth and Fifth Avenues (F/G/R to Fourth Ave/9th St.)

City Stomp's performance is part of Spoke the Hub's 20th Annual Local Produce Festival, a month-long grassroots “greenmarket” of dance, music, theater and poetry that continues through the end of the month.

City Stomp is a favorite of Time Out New York Kids, New York Kids magazine, Go City Kids, Nick Jr, New York magazine, and A Child Grows in Brooklyn.

The five veteran musicians include the instructors from Brooklyn's popular City Stomp Music classes.

City Stomp will host free trial classes during the rest of June at the following locations:
  • Saturday, June 15, 10:30 AM, Family Music, 11:30 AM, Drum Circle (ages 4-5) St. JME Lutheran Church, 283 Prospect Avenue (between 5th and 6th Avenues
  • Sunday, June 16, 10:00 AM, Family Music, Spoke The Hub, 748 Union Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues.)
