Summer Screen 2013 at McCarren Park

SummerScreen, an outdoor film series in Williamsburg's McCarren Park (corner of Bedford and N.12th St. -- next to the tennis courts) has announced its 2013 lineup.

Starting July 10, Brooklyn's biggest -- and probably best -- outdoor film series will present free films every Wednesday all summer long.

Early arrival is recommended. Gates open at 6:00 PM.  Live music at 6:30 PM and screening at sundown.

Summer Screen's audience will choose the last film of the season from a list of nominees.  This year's contenders are: Mallrats, The Neverending Story, High Fidelity, The Breakfast Club, The Big Lebowski, Heathers, and Scream.

To cast your vote, visit Facebook page. The winning film will be announced on Wednesday, August 7, and will screen on Wednesday, August 14.
