April Opening for Calko Medical Center

According to a media release, the newly-constructed Calko Medical Center, at 6010 Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst, will open next month.

The project broke ground in 2011.

The $60 million, 9-story, 100,000-square-foot facility will offer comprehensive medical care and state-of-the-art equipment and procedures, featuring endoscopy, radiology, a pathology lab, a pharmacy, a fertility clinic, and one-stop specialist shopping: internists, endocrinologists, orthopedists, pathologists and many more.

A computerized medical records system will allow specialists to instantly share medical records, speeding diagnosis.

The facility will offer patients free wi-fi, online appointments and valet parking.

Calko is the joint venture of gastroenterologist Robert Kodsi and real estate developer Mark Caller.
