Regina Opera Celebrates 43rd Season with Move to OLPH

Regina Opera, now in its 43rd season, has moved.

All operas and Sunday concerts are now performed at Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, 5902 6th Avenue (between 59th and 60th Streets) in Brooklyn.

The 400-seat theater at OLPH is wheelchair-accessible and convenient to bus and subway lines, including the N and R trains and the B-9 and B-63 buses.

This season's operas include Verdi's "La Traviata" June 1, 2, 8 and 9.

Sunday concerts include a 43rd Anniversary Gala on April 7.

The company, called "Brooklyn's best small opera company", is seeking donations of funds for moving sets and props, new lighting equipment and stage reconstruction.
