After a six-month investigation, JCOPE sent its findings to two legislative committees this week for possible sanctions, including expulsion. The report eviscerates Lopez for a pattern of "piggish behavior" toward women going back years.
The story broke last summer with reports that Lopez had settled sexual harassment claims by four female staffers, in part with taxpayer funds secretly ladled out by Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver.
The State Legislature is allowed to keep JCOPE's findings a secret until it decides what to do with Lopez.
A copy of the JCOPE report also went to the Assembly Ethics Committee.
