Brooklyn Community Services, Astella, Launch Brooklyn Builders
To address their needs, Brooklyn Community Services (BCS) has partnered with Astella Development Corporation to create a Coney Island hub providing neighborhood relief and recovery assistance.
Funded through foundation, corporate and individual donations, BCS has so far distributed over $80,000 in relief funds to Coney Island residents, but the need is far greater.
To raise additional relief funding, BCS has launched BKLYN Builders, a program providing both short and long-term support to Coney Island residents rebuilding their lives after Sandy.
By donating to BKLYN Builders, you can help hard-hit Coney Island families pull their lives together again.
Your gift of $50 or more to the BKLYN Builders campaign by May 1 will automatically enter your name in a raffle to win a pair of tickets to BCS's annual Human Spirit Awards on June 4, and an exclusive invitation to the BKLYN Builders Online Auction launch party on May 21.
