According to co-owner Roger Desmond, the decision to keep the shop open comes after a lease deal with a national burger chain fell through.
Desmond says the owners will keep the property on the market until they either find a winning formula or a new buyer, and will experiment with a new look, a new ambience and a new menu in the meantime.
