Fastelavn at the Danish Athletic Club

On Sunday, February 24 from 2 - 6 PM, the Scandinavian East Coast Museum will host its Annual Fastelavn Celebration (Danish Mardi Gras) at the Danish Athletic Club, 735 65th Street (on the border of Bay Ridge).

All are invited to the party.

Branches will be decorated for the return of spring, the barrel will be whacked to drive out the bad luck, and delicious Fastelavn cream buns will be served to bring back the good luck.

Games and a prize for best costume. (Costumes optional.)

Music by local accordianist Ellen Lindstrom.

All inclusive price: $30.00 for adults, $17.00 kids 7 - 17 and $12.00 for kids 6 and under.
