Sandy Art Resiliency Relief Project at Gravesend Houses

A team of artists will offer art healing projects in those areas of the city hardest-hit by Hurricane Sandy today, Saturday, November 10, at 1:30 PM.

Parents, schools, communities, social workers and the media are invited to join the Children's Movement for Creative Education and Word Above the Street for a hope and resiliency-themed children's art relief program at the Gravesend Houses (still no power, but lights on the art project room), at 2793 West 33rd Street (MAP) from 1:30-4:30 PM this afternoon, for children ages 6 to teens.
