Couple Sought for Questioning in Gebeli, Kadare Murders

The NYPD wants to talk to a local couple in connection with the murders of discount store owner Isaac Kadare on August 2 and clothier Mohammed Gebeli on July 6.

The two are not suspects, cops say, but may know something about the murders.

The shooter used the same .22 caliber pistol to kill both Kadare and Gebeli, covering both victims' bodies with merchandise from the shelves of their stores:  Gebeli with clothing and Kadare with pots.

Police presence has markedly increased in the aftermath of the murders near Kadare's store on 86th Street in Bensonhurst and Gebeli's store on Fifth Avenue in Bay Ridge.

A substantial reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest, indictment and successful prosecution of the perpetrator.

If you know who did these crimes, call the 62nd Precinct at (718) 236-2611 or (718) 439-4211.
