New York City Feral Cat Coalition will sponsor two workshops at the St. George Library Center, 5 Central Avenue (near Borough Hall) in Staten Island (718-442-8560), this month where you can learn about the care, feeding and socialization of feral kittens.
Bottle Feeding and Care of Orphaned Kittens
Saturday, August 27, 2011 from 1-4 PM.
Learn the skills needed to successfully bottle-feed and care for orphaned kittens, including the equipment and formula needed for best results, and the most effective bottle-feeding techniques. All stages of kitten care will be discussed.

Taming Feral Kittens 8 Weeks Old and Under
Saturday, September 17, 2011, 1-4 PM.
Learn the process of socializing (taming) young feral kittens into adoptable pets. At the workshop, the Urban Cat League video, Tough Love: Socializing Feral Kittens, will be screened, and participants will learn kitten trapping techniques.
Instructor: Mike Phillips, Urban Cat League.
