Green Church Bulletin

National Grid (formerly KeySpan) briefly returned to the job this morning.

The photo at right, taken around 8:30 a.m., shows the open cut on Ovington in front of the parsonage.

A Vision Transport truck dropped off another dumpster in the church parking lot today.

The empty dumpster I saw parked behind the Sunday school building earlier in the week must have been filled and hauled away.

According to a Committee source, new street numbers have been assigned relative to the proposed development.

Number 362 Ovington, the parsonage, will no longer exist after the limestone is demolished.

According to the Topo Site/Plot Plan filed by Bricolage, the proposed "church" will be Number 364 Ovington.

The proposed 72-condo development will be Number 378 Ovington.

The Sunday school building will be Number 7016 Fourth Avenue.

It is not clear what Abe Betesh intends to do with the Sunday school building -- if, as represented to the press, he will retain it for "educational purposes" or demolish it.

Number 7002 Fourth Avenue, the present address of the Green Church, will no longer exist.

A related post from the Bay Ridge Rover says that "asbestos abatement" and "interior demolition" are going on in the church, facts that the Rover may be able to corroborate -- I cannot:
